Explore Singapore: My new fav #ootd place

I haven’t been writing for a few months so it’s really time to start blogging again. As some of you may have already known, I am a Vietnamese but I have been living in Singapore for 8 years now. Yes that’s almost half of my life. For the past few years, I have been too busy with studying to ever have time to explore Singapore as much as I am doing now.  I enjoy living my life as a wanderer so I’m trying to make my life less mundane everyday.

Singapore is a multi-racial country with a mix of different ethnicities, with the majority being the Chinese, Malay and Eurasian. It is not a country of long history as compared to Vietnam and Singaporeans just celebrated their 50th birthday last year. Nonetheless, it is not a country to look down to. Despite being a little red dot on the world map, Singapore is one of the first world economies and ASEAN’s growing financial and technological hub. The country is well-developed with many skyscrapers and office buildings, bringing a sense of vibrancy to this small island.

This is one of my favourite places for #ootd now. The lighting is perfect, the background is so so colourful that it lightens up my mood and I can easily forget all my life problems. This place is called Old Hill Street Police Station. It is a historic building that was once the site of Singapore’s first jail. Its names changed overtime, from “Old Hill Street Police Station” to “MITA Building” to “MICA Building” and now back to the original. Speaking of #ootd, recently I have been completely in love with this kind of bell sleeve top. It makes me feel so comfortable moving around during my shoot and the way the sleeves are made somehow makes it easier for the breeze to sneak in. It’s a perfect top for a person who hates sweats but still has to live in a tropical country with summer all year round like me.

Are you currently exploring a city, a country or an island that makes you stand in awe? Do you love bell sleeve tops as much as I do? Do share your stories and your styling with me as well! I would love to read them all
